Advancing Legal Knowledge and Innovation

The Research Development Cell (RDC) is the intellectual hub of Lincoln College of Law. It is dedicated to fostering a strong culture of empirical and doctrinal legal research among faculty and students.

The cell encourages the publication of research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. We frequently organize national seminars, paper presentation competitions, and workshops on research methodology to hone analytical skills.

What We Do

Research Initiatives & Programs

Research Methodology Workshops

Hands‑on training on empirical research design, sampling methods, data analysis tools (SPSS, NVivo), and legal writing standards.

National Seminars & Conferences

Annual flagship event with peer‑reviewed paper presentations, keynote addresses by eminent jurists, and publication of conference proceedings.

Student Paper Writing Competitions

Intra‑college and inter‑college competitions on contemporary legal issues, with cash prizes and recommendation letters for winners.

Publication Support

Guidance on journal selection, plagiarism checks, manuscript formatting, and submission to UGC‑care listed and Scopus/WoS indexed journals.

Faculty Research Grants

Seed funding and support for applying to external funding agencies (ICSSR, UGC, DST) for major research projects.

Lincoln Law Review (ISSN)

Annual peer‑reviewed journal featuring articles, case comments, and book reviews from scholars across India.
